| In Spain a purchase/sale is deemed formally effected when the public declaration of title and ownership has been signed by a notary, the agreed payment has been made and the formal transfer of title has taken place. Upon signing of the contract, the notary is instructed to notify the respective land register of the transfer of title. Your solicitor will then on your behalf pay all taxes relating to the transfer of title and arrange registration in the land register. |
