Private contract Print E-mail

There are usually approximately two weeks between signing the purchase offer and signing the actual purchase contract, the private contract. By that time, your solicitor has completed his analysis and ensured that the seller has settled all outstanding debts or amounts encumbering the real estate. The private contract for purchase or option reflects all the points of the purchase offer and includes a date for attestation by a notary. 1% to 10% of the purchase price is usually paid at the signing of the contract. This amount will not be reimbursed to the buyer in case of withdrawal from the purchase but goes to the seller.
